With the lush view, charming scenery, and acquiring mountain backdrop Arusha National Park is a small national park of Tanzania. The national park acquires 137 km2 land in Tanzania. This small yet spectacular park covers the foothill of volcanic peak Mt. Meru.

Mt. Meru, is the second-highest peak of Tanzania after Kilimanjaro sitting at an elevation of 4566m. Not only the 2nd highest peak of Tanzania but also the volcanic peak is the 5th highest point in African Continent.

The park is easily accessible as it is situated in the Arusha City of North-Eastern Tanzania. The park's main gate is just 25km east of Arusha city and also 58 km from Moshi. It takes a 1-hour drive from Kilimanjaro international airport as well as only 45 minutes' drive from Arusha City.

The national park is mostly underestimated due to its size. However, the national park is brimming with untamed wildlife including some of the large mammals. However, the big cats are not much spottable inside the park but you can easily spot giraffe, Cape buffalo, zebra, warthog, the black-and-white colobus monkey, the blue monkey, flamingo, elephant, bushbuck, and a lot more.
