TANZANIA WILDLIFE SAFARI AND BEACHES OF ZANZIBAR - 11 Days / 10 Nights

Day 1: Upon your arrival from home at Kilimanjaro International Airport you will meet our representative. You will be transferred to a hotel or lodge in Arusha for an overnight.

Day 2: After breakfast at your hotel or lodge in Arusha you will be given a briefing for the entire staying and touring in Tanzania. The drive guide will then transfer you to Arusha Airport for your flight to Serengeti National Park.

Upon your arrival in the Serengeti you will be met by your driver/guide and transferred to a lodge in Serengeti National Park. This small and delightful classic tented safari camp offers a true bush experience, with a good dollop of luxury and comfort. The tents are comfortable, light and simple, but equipped with everything you might need.

This will follow with an afternoon game drive to Serengeti to explore the wildness of the park. Serengeti boost numerous numbers of different species of wild animals as well as birdlife. Timely Serengeti offers a slide slow of greatest animal kingdom migration in the world. About 2 million wildebeest and hundreds thousands of zebras and other antelopes migrate from Serengeti to Masai Mara in Kenya.

Days 2-3: The two days will be spent in Serengeti for game drive and experience the truly adventure that Serengeti can offer to her visitors. The park is home to buffalo, wildebeest, zebra, warthog, elephant, lion, cheetah, leopard, impala, topi and much more just a few to mention wild animals. The beautiful famous secretary bird is an emblem of Serengeti. The park is however famous for its vegetation of Savannah, open grass land and endless plains been dotted by trees.

Each day you will have an early breakfast and thereafter leave the lodge with your picnic lunch and head to your game drive until late afternoon back to the designated lodge for hot shower, dinner and overnight.

Day 4: Today with pack lunch in hand you will drive through the Serengeti, leaving the National Park behind and heading for the Loliondo area, part of the much larger Serengeti eco-system. This region is part of Maasai community owned land, which offers a great mix of resident game, and is excellent walking safaris with dramatic scenery of open plains, rock kopjes and woodlands. Your will camp at Loliondo for some days in a designated area. Dinner and overnight at the campsite.

Day 5: While in Loliondo you will have much of the walking safaris along the plain of the Maasai community as well as visiting the Maasai boma. Maasai by nature a nomadic pastoralists and are warriors of the jungle. All the walking safaris will be conducted and handled by the Maasai English speaking guide in Loliondo.

With the opportunity of visiting Loliondo the region allows exclusive night game drives of which Serengeti and other most parks doesn't allow this kind of service. Dinner and overnight at the campsite in Loliondo.

Day 6: Early morning after breakfast you will leave the Serengeti plains behind today you climb in to the Ngorongoro Highlands, which includes the spectacular Ngorongoro Crater, the largest intact volcanic caldera in the world. Enjoying a game drive on the way you will be transported from the heat of the plains to the cooler climates of the crater rim. On your arrival you will have hot shower relaxation at the designated lodge before having dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 7: Rise up early in the morning and have your breakfast at the designated lodge. After breakfast you will descend to Ngorongoro crater probably the only thing your have been dreaming off. While on the crater floor you will experience a spectacular view of the world's densest population of spotted hyena as well as lions. The endangered Black African Rhino can be seeing on early morning and/or late in the afternoon.

Ngorongoro crater offers an extraordinary landscape as well as lakes, birdlife more than 400 species of resident and migratory birds have been recorded. The popular big 5 animals can be seeing in Ngorongoro in a day visit they include (Leopard, Rhino, Lion, Elephant and African Cape Buffalo).

After a long day of game drive to the crater floor you will be transferred to the lodge for hot shower, dinner and overnight at the rim of the crater.

Day 8: You have another opportunity to explore the crater this morning before being transferred to the Manyara airstrip to catch your afternoon flight to Zanzibar. Upon your arrival in Zanzibar you will be met and taken to a designated hotel or lodge.

The rest of the day will be spent at the hotel or lodge for swimming and relaxation after a long safari in Tanzania mainland. Since you are in a spice island be sure to have lost of palatable food and drinks well prepared in an African stylish cuisine with a mix of one, two or more spices leaves to make a different test from other mainland food. Also Zanzibar is famous for its abundance of sea food. Dinner and overnight at the hotel or lodge in Stone town.

Days 9 - 10: The next two days you will have much to do while in Zanzibar. Apart from learning how to dive into the coral reefs of the marine park of Zanzibar the following are the popular tour and worth much to visit while in Zanzibar as follows: The Zanzibar Spice tour (been exposed to the different kind of spices and a chance to by soon for use back home), snorkeling and other water sports. Other activities include Jozani forest visiting, swimming with Dolphins and a trip to the narrow streets of the Stone town.

When our tour guide will give you briefing it will therefore be easy for you to make decision on which part of Zanzibar and kind of activity would you like to implement. Lunch will depend on the place where you are and arrangement can easily been done. Dinner will be served at your hotel or lodge.

Day 11: Having had a few days of relaxation after you safari adventures, it is time to head home. Today you have an early morning transfer to catch your transfer flight or express boat to Dar Es Salaam, before catching your return flight home.
