This is bespoke Safari Adventure that you the opportunity to experience the diversity of game available in Southern Tanzania and Mahale Mountains.From the beauty of Ruaha to the excitement of chimp trekking in the Mahale Mountains to the wonderful birds and mammals in Selous, this is ideal for those wanting the ultimate African getaway.

Day 1: Dar es Salaam / Ruaha

Arrive at Dar es Salaam Airport, you will be assisted to connect with your scheduled flight to Ruaha National Park. Upon arrival at Ruaha you will be met at the airstrip, go on a short game drive en-route to your camp, where you arrive in time for lunch. Rest in your room till temperatures are cool to enjoy an afternoon game viewing in Ruaha. Overnight at JONGOMERO CAMP. (L, D)

Day 2: Ruaha

Today you get to the opportunity to choose a wide selection of bush activities that include game viewing activities and a walking safari in the company of an armed guide. Enjoy the meals at the camp. (B, L, D)

Day 3: Ruaha / Mahale

After breakfast in your camp, you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Mahale. Upon arrival, enjoy an exciting transfer by dhow and a short drive to your camp arriving in time for lunch.Enjoy stunning views of the steep Mahale Mountains rising up on your left as you head north to Greystoke. In the afternoon you will enjoy a game drive. Three nights at KUNGWE BEACH LODGE. (B, L, D)

Days 4 & 5: Mahale

During these days you will have the walk to find the chimps, this takes anywhere between an hour and four hours, depending on where the chimpanzees are. Please be aware that because they are completely wild, sightings cannot be absolutely guaranteed, although over the course of your stay the guides will do their best to ensure you do see the chimpanzees at least once. You are allowed an hour with the chimpanzees, which are habituated to visits by tourists, and they are truly fascinating to watch interact, eat, and play. You will often hear them before you see them, their howls and shrieks reverberating through the forest, which only adds to your excitement as you are walking to find them with your guide. a choice of game viewing activities and on one of the days you will enjoy a trek to see the chimps. Day 6: Mahale / Selous

This morning you will be transferred to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Selous. Upon arrival at Selous you will be met and taken on a short game drive en route to your camp in time for lunch. This afternoon enjoy a game activity. Two nights at SELOUS SAFARI CAMP. Selous Safari Camp comprises well appointed classic safari tents on the banks of one of the lakes formed by the Rufiji River, sheltered in a grove of palms. Guided game viewing by boat, vehicle and on foot. (B, L, D)

Day 7: Selous

You have the day to enjoy various game viewing activities. Selous Game Reserve has one third of the world’s wild dog, 60,000 elephant, more buffalo, hippo and crocodile than any other African game reserve or National Park, as well as all the plains game and predators. (B, L, D)

Day 8: Selous / Dar es Salaam

After breakfast you will be taken to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Dar es Salaam. On arrival at Dar es Salaam Airport you will be offered airport assistance for your onward flight.
