3 Days / 2 Nights: Ngorongoro Crater / Lake Manyara National Park
Day 1: Ngorongoro Crater
Depart Arusha in the morning arriving Ngorongoro in time for lunch. After lunch spend the afternoon viewing the magnificent view of the floor of the crater from the lodge located on the craters? Rim. The Crater is one of the world's greatest natural spectacles; its magical setting and abundant wildlife never fail to fascinate visitors. It borders the Serengeti National Park to the north and west. Dinner and overnight at a lodge.
Day 2: Ngorongoro Crater
After early breakfast a safari vehicle will take you 2000 ft down the crater, tracking animals, with picnic lunch. Also referred to as ? the eighth wonder of the world? and stretching across some 8,300 sq km, the Ngorongoro Conservation Area in northern Tanzania boasts a blend of landscapes, wildlife, people and archaeology that is unsurpassed in Africa. The volcanoes, grasslands, waterfalls and mountain forests are home to an abundance of animals and to the Maasai. In the evening ascend to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: Ngorongoro - Lake Manyara National Park - Arusha
After breakfast, depart to Lake Manyara National Park for a game drive with picnic lunch. A game drive to Lake Manyara National Park until late afternoon and thereafter drive back to Arusha. A simple rest and hot early dinner at the designated restaurant before been transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for connecting to your flight back home.
4 Days / 3 Nights: Lake Manyara National Park - Ngorongoro Crater - Tarangire National Park
Day 1: Lake Manyara
Depart Arusha in the morning for Lake Manyara, arriving in time for lunch. Stretching for 50 km along the base of the rusty gold 600-metre high Rift valley escarpments, Lake Manyara is a scenic gem, with a setting extolled by Ernest Hemingway as? The loveliest I had seen in Africa. The compact game viewing circuit through Manyara offers a virtual microcosm of the Tanzanian safari experience. Afternoon game drive to explore the park. Dinner and overnight at lodge or campsite.
Day 2: Ngorongoro crater
After early breakfast, depart for Ngorongoro crater arriving in time for lunch. After lunch descend the crater. Day 3: Tarangire National Park
After breakfast drive to Tarangire National Park. After lunch leave for an afternoon game drive to explore the park famous for its tree-climbing pythons. The Tarangire River has shriveled to a shadow of its wet season self but it is choked with wildlife. Meals and overnight at a designated lodge or campsite.
Day 4: Arusha
After breakfast enjoy a morning game viewing drive in the Tarangire National Park return to lodge for lunch and in the afternoon depart to Arusha town for a simple rest before been transferred to the Kilimanjaro International Airport for connecting with your flight back home.
