Momela Wildlife Lodge
The Momela Wildlife Lodge is located in Arusha National Park and it takes 45 -50 minutes drive to the lodge. Momela lodge is away from both Arusha town and Kilimanjaro International Airport about 50-55 Kilometers.
The lodge has 54 guest rooms in a style of round huts and cottages all with bathrooms and cold and hot shower.
The restaurant offers English and African dishes at a relaxed atmosphere and can accommodate up to 250 diners at a time. Fresh vegetable and seasonal fruits are common served with dishes. Aside is a lovely bar which offers international and local drinks both hard and soft once. Within the lodge you will find a curio and gift shop for friends back home. A well organized conference hall is available for renting and can host 150 delegates.
While in Momela Wildlife Lodge the main activities that you will be practicing among others are Arusha National Park popular wildlife waking safari, climbing Mount Meru, game drive to the park, bird watching at the Momela lakes and view of Ngurdoto crater. Arusha National Park and its surrounding offer a great chance to meet local communities and learn their culture. A camel safari is also popular around the area.
Hatari Lodge
An ideal place for view the two peaks of Mount Meru and Mount Kilimanjaro on clear days Hatari Lodge is located with the Arusha National Park. It is basically 45 Kilometer for both Arusha town and Kilimanjaro International Airport. The lodge is set on the nice good looking acacia woodland of the Arusha Park.
With 9 rooms accommodation all of them have bathrooms, hot and cold shower and some with bathtubs, an open fire place as well hairdryers.
The oldest but well furnished building within the lodge is a point of meeting for meals and bar. The restaurant has varieties of dishes of your choice. Also the bar offers varieties of liquors from local to international level it is just your choice.
