KATAVI HIPPOS GARDEN HOTEL

Katavi Hippos Garden Hotel is located on the bank of the river Katuma in Sitalike just outside Katavi National Park about 1 kilometer from park headquarter. The garden can be reach by train from Dar es Salaam to Kigoma, and the change the train in Tabora to Mpanda. By road 560 km from Mbeya, 210 km from Sumbawanga and 40 km south of Mpanda.

The garden has 12 bandas among of them 6 with one bedroom each having 2 beds and others with 3 beds both self contained with hot and cold shower. Each banda has a spectacular view of hippos in Katuma river.
