BIG EXPEDITIONS SAFARIS & TOURS

The company was established in year 2002 by the owner and the founder Nicholas Minja - (Nick). The company is based in Arusha town with its branches in Moshi and Dar-es-salaam.

Our services includes Mountain climbing, walking safaris, photographic tours and scenic beaches holidays.

Our services are quality standard which makes us to be unique by making your travel life time experience with special memories of Big expeditions.

Nick has been working as head guide for Mount Kilimanjaro expeditions for several years in cooperation with International mountain expeditions companies.

As the owner himself is a guide he is very well familiar with service industry so he makes sure that all his mountain guides, cooks, crew and safari guides are professionally trained to provide high standard services to the visitors.

We conduct expeditions to Northern, Southern and Western circuit of Tanzania with extension to exotic beaches of Zanzibar. As the business is growing we do also conduct expeditions to Kenya, Uganda, Pemba Mozambique and Rwanda. We do standard itinerary safaris, tailor made safaris, camping safaris, flying safaris, students travel, honeymooner's package, Kilimanjaro Mountain climbing all routes and Maasai land/cultural walking safaris/camel safaris/donkey safaris.

We do have our own team of mountain guides, cooks, crew, safari guides and mountain climbing gears including tents, walking sticks, oxygen cylinder, oximeter etc. On the safari part we do have our own safari prepared 4x4 vehicles and multi language speaking guides.

Our office staff are online 24 hrs a day online via mobiles and they do make sure that our clients do get the best services while on holidays from arrival time up to departure time. As we do have strong team work, so this makes our company to grow very fast by providing best information and quality service.

Message from the CEO:

I do believe that “If you work hard and honestly that one day you will archive your goals” and that is what I have done from the beginning when I did climb mount Kilimanjaro for the first time when I was just 13 years old, and now when I sit and think I can't believe that I have done more than 300 times Mount Kilimanjaro climb for the past years and still adding up the expeditions day by day.
